Copyright Guide for Photographers

Say you just snapped a work of art or a prize-winning photo. Do you own the rights to this photograph — and how does one copyright this image? Unless the photo was made as an employee for a company, or you have a written and signed agreement saying otherwise, you own the rights to your work and its copyright.

The American Society of Media Photographers has released a mini-guide as a service to photographers, buyers and users of intellectual property. Download a copy of this guide here.
