The stage was set for a clash between the Jets and the Sharks. No it wasn’t one of the state playoff games happening at the “Mecca” but it was the Pottsville Area High School Drama Club’s presentation of West Side Story next door in the school’s auditorium.

The cold rain falling on downtown Harrisburg during New Year’s eve did not dampen the spirit for thousands of spectators who came out to celebrate and welcome in 2010. We were there setup inside an almost dry tent offering souvenir photos that captured the spirit of the night’s festivities to those wanting to preserve this great memory.
It was a good evening to catch some local high school football action and we caught a good one.
Pottsville Tide hosted Exeter Township Eagles Friday evening and rallied during the fourth quarter for a 26-20 win.

Hundreds of antiques, classics, and other vehicles of interest cruised thru downtown Pottsville during the annual Great Pottsville Cruise on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Pottsville Area Boy’s Volleyball team hosted their annual “Martz Madness” tournament Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Martz Hall. The Crimson Tide came within only a couple points of making the tournament’s playoff round. The first place trophy was claimed by Holy Redeemer.

Imagine you lost the camera that had those one-of-a-kind vacation photos, or images of a keepsake moment. Now imagine a stranger finding it: Would you feel happy, or somehow that your privacy was invaded, if that stranger put some of your images on the Web to track you down?
We met up with some interesting wildlife during a recent visit to the Carolinas. From a North Myrtle Beach backyard pond to the scenic grassy marshlands surrounding a Shallote, NC golf course we found an abundance of interesting creatures to photograph.
