The parade was scheduled “rain or shine” and we got both. It rained and our area firefighters shined during the 57th Annual Schuylkill County Firefighter’s Convention Parade held Saturday, August 27 in Minersville.
Island Park Festival 2011
The weather cooperated and thousands of people of all ages came out to enjoy a fun filled day of entertainment, activities and food during the fifth annual Island Park Festival held Saturday, Aug. 20 in Schuylkill Haven.
A Wet & Great Pottsville Cruise 2011
A little bit of rain did not dampen the spirits of cruisers and spectators. Several hundred antiques, classics, and other vehicles of interest cruised the streets of Pottsville during the 18th annual Great Pottsville Cruise on Sunday, Aug. 14.
